Team Charity is proud to announce we made a donation to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center to sponsor one of their dog kennels for 6 months!!!

Because of the funds you help us raise by attending our social fundraising events, we are able to fund the up-keep for one of the kennels that a homeless dog lives in. Please continue to support Team Charity's social events, so we can keep doing things like this!

Team Charity had the honor of being interviewed by Dafna Michaelson, the "50 in 52 JourneyWoman." Michaelson is traveling to every state in one year's time to meet and interview people who are making a difference in their community. Watch Team Charity co-founders Nicole Fulmino and Maria Cruz talk about why Team Charity is founded and what they hope the impact will be for their fellow young professionals. !

To all of our friends, family and loyal supporters...thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Many people have many ideas that never come to fruition. We are proud to say that Team Charity is here because of all of you. Thank you for having faith in us when we were just a small idea from a small group of friends. Thank you for volunteering with us, for fundraising with us, for coming to our events, but mostly, for believing in us. We would never have gotten to this point without you.

And from here, the sky is the limit! We hope you continue this journey with us, as we come together as a generation to make a difference in our communities (and since we’ve learned over the past two years that it is okay to dream big) and we dare even say, our world.
Thank you.

Team Charity receives our 501(c)(3) determination!!!!!!!

On February 17, 2009, we received a letter dated February 3, 2009 from the Internal Revenue Service Department of Treasury. The letter began:

Dear Applicant:

We are pleased to inform you that upon review of you application for tax exempt status, we have determined that you are exempt from Federal income tax under the section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code...We determined that you are a public charity under the Code section(s) listed in the heading of this letter...

There it was in black and white - what we have been working for, for almost two years.
