Broadway House needs your help!
Broadway House for Continuing Care is New Jersey's only specialized facility for people living with HIV/AIDS. We have volunteered for them before and are happy to pass along a message from them in their time in need. Hope you can help them!
"At this time we are in need of clothing, especially men's clothing. We are looking for casual clothing; jeans, shorts, sweat pants, t-shirts etc. We will take any season men's clothing, in any sizes. For women's clothing we are in need of summer clothing. As the weather changes and you go through your closets, please consider donating your unneeded items to our facility.
In addition we need to replace some broken VCR's and DVD players. Resident are offered the option to watch movies in their rooms and many people (especially those residents who are less mobile) really enjoy this. At this point we are limited by the number of working players available. So if you have an extra VCR around or have replaced a regular DVD player with a Blue Ray player, your unused items would be a benefit to our residents. And while you are looking if you have any tapes or dvd's that you no longer watch, we would be happy to take them off your hands also!"
